Short Story
Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae are an excellent feed supplement for pigs, goats, sheep, poultry, and fish due to their high protein content and rich nutrient profile.
These larvae provide essential amino acids and fats, which help promote healthy growth, improve immunity, and enhance the overall health of animals.
Additionally, BSF larvae are a sustainable and eco-friendly option, as they are raised on organic waste, reducing environmental impact.
In addition to being a nutritious feed supplement, BSF frass, the byproduct of BSF larvae production, is a highly effective organic fertilizer.
Frass is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as beneficial microorganisms that improve soil health and fertility, promoting healthier plant growth and better yields.
Overall, BSF larvae and frass offer a sustainable solution for animal feed and organic farming, supporting a more eco-friendly agricultural system.

Hello, everyone!
We are Marcus and Maureen, and we are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the founders of Oasis Agricultural Services Ltd. With a shared passion for innovation and a commitment to making a difference in the agricultural industry, we are excited to embark on this journey and invite you to be a part of it.
Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and Maureen has a Bachelor of Science in Health and Safety. Together, we bring a unique blend of skills and expertise to this venture. While this is our first time launching an agricultural start-up, we are not new to the world of business. With nearly forty years of combined management experience, we have honed our skills in leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
Our backgrounds have equipped us with the knowledge and experience to navigate the challenges of the agricultural sector. We are focused, hardworking, and driven professionals who are eager to apply our collective expertise to Oasis Agricultural Services Ltd. We are committed to building a sustainable and innovative company that will make a positive impact on the agricultural community.
We are embarking on a mission to create a sustainable and regenerative small-holding homestead nestled in the beautiful landscapes of Trinidad and Tobago. Our focus is on producing Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae and frass [larvae castings and waste], which we offer as supplemental livestock feed and organic soil supplements. This project isn’t just about farming; it’s about revolutionizing sustainable food production, reducing feed costs, enhancing soil health, and fostering growth in the local agricultural sector.
Our vision is to establish a self-sustaining ecosystem where we grow micro-greens to feed our small ruminant livestock and poultry. The livestock organic waste will then be consumed as food by the BSF Larvae, which supports growth and nutrient density. This guarantees that our livestock receives high-quality feed, and our soil is enriched with nutrient-rich supplementsโclosing the loop in a regenerative, sustainable farming model.
By sharing our mission with your personal and professional networks, you are contributing to a project that aims not only to be profitable but also to benefit the environment and the local community. Your support in spreading the word will help us create a model for sustainable, regenerative farming that can be replicated across the region, ensuring a brighter future for agriculture in Trinidad and Tobago.
We believe in the power of community, and we know that with your help, we can reach a wider audience and generate the interest needed to bring this vision to life. Please take a moment to view our LinkedIn company page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/oasis-agricultural-products-limited/?viewAsMember=true and to share our mission with your networks, and let’s work together to create a lasting impact.
Thank you for your support and for being a part of this journey toward a more sustainable future.
